Save the Children works to ensure every child in Lebanon can access safe, inclusive and quality education, even during times of crisis. Ongoing conflict, displacement and economic hardship have disrupted learning for many children, making it harder for them to stay in school and continue their education.
We support both formal and non-formal learning opportunities to help children continue learning and return to school where possible. Our programmes include Early Childhood Education and non-formal education that strengthens literacy and numeracy skills for children who have missed out on schooling. We also support children to transition from non-formal education into the formal school system and provide targeted support to children at risk of dropping out.
By working with children, families, teachers and communities, we help create safe and supportive learning environments so children can continue their education and build the skills they need for the future.
