Save the Children works to create safe and protective environments for children across Lebanon. Our child protection programmes focus on preventing and responding to violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation, while supporting children’s wellbeing and development within their families and communities.
We provide case management services, family support and mental health and psychosocial support to help children cope with stress, traumatic experiences, and instability. Our teams work closely with communities, social workers, local authorities, Social Development Centres and civil society organisations to identify children at risk and ensure they receive the support they need.
We also play an active role in strengthening national child protection systems and coordination, including co-leading the Case Management Task Force. Through integrated programmes that connect protection, education and family support, we aim to strengthen protective environments for children at home, in school and within their communities.
